Mukhyamantri Anuprati Coaching Yojana Rajasthan 2026–27
The Mukhyamantri Anuprati Coaching Yojana is a Rajasthan Government initiative that helps eligible students and job seekers prepare for competitive examinations without paying the prescribed coaching fee at government-empanelled institutes.
The scheme covers preparation for examinations such as UPSC Civil Services, RPSC RAS, JEE, NEET, REET, railway recruitment, banking, SSC, CLAT and other notified examinations. Its purpose is to make organised coaching more accessible to eligible candidates who may otherwise struggle to afford it.

What Is the Anuprati Coaching Yojana?
Preparing for examinations such as UPSC, RAS, JEE or NEET can involve substantial coaching expenses. Under this scheme, Rajasthan Government arranges coaching through institutes selected under the departmental process.
This is primarily a free-coaching scheme, not a cash scholarship of a fixed amount for every student. The prescribed coaching cost is covered under the government's arrangement with eligible empanelled coaching institutions.
Applicants cannot simply join any private coaching centre and claim reimbursement. They must follow the official application, selection and institute-allotment process.
What Benefits Are Available?
1. Free Competitive-Examination Coaching
Selected candidates receive coaching for their allotted examination or course through an empanelled coaching centre. The government specifies coaching duration, applicable institutional rates, minimum academic requirements and seat allocation for different examination groups.
The published revised scheme provides 15,000 places for government competitive examination coaching and 15,000 for professional entrance and related courses, giving a total of 30,000 seats. The entrance group includes 12,000 places for engineering and medical entrance preparation.
The actual seats available to an individual applicant depend on the examination, category and notified allocation.
2. Conditional Accommodation and Food Assistance
The revised guidelines also provide ₹40,000 per year as additional accommodation and food assistance in specified coaching categories and circumstances.
In the published November 2024 directions, this provision is specifically described for eligible candidates taking coaching through the designated other-category institutes for CAFC, CSEET, CMAFC and CDS/SSC examinations, where they must leave their usual residence and live on rent in another city to attend the allotted centre.
Important: Do not assume every selected student, every examination category or every student moving to another district automatically receives ₹40,000. The entitlement depends on the applicable coaching category, institute arrangement and departmental conditions.
For any accommodation claim, retain the residence and expense records required by the department, and follow the current official instructions.

Who Is Eligible for Mukhyamantri Anuprati Coaching Yojana?
1. Rajasthan Domicile
The applicant must be a native resident of Rajasthan and meet the documentary requirements for proving domicile.
2. Eligible Social Categories
The November 2024 revised guidelines cover candidates belonging to the prescribed Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Most Backward Class (MBC), economically backward category, minority category and persons with disabilities categories.
Different categories are administered under the relevant Rajasthan departments and eligibility rules. Candidates must choose the category supported by their valid government records.
Do not assume that all unreserved-category candidates qualify merely because their income is below ₹8 lakh. Eligibility must also match a recognised scheme category.
3. Annual Family Income
For parents or guardians who are not government employees, the published income ceiling is ₹8,00,000 annually, including the candidate's income where applicable.
The revised rules also contain specific provisions for government-employee parents or guardians:
- Rajasthan Government employees: Prescribed maximum Pay Matrix Level 11, together with total family income not exceeding ₹8 lakh.
- Central Government employees: Prescribed maximum Pay Matrix Level 6, together with total family income not exceeding ₹8 lakh.
Salary alone is not the only consideration. Candidates should check total income and the applicable pay-level rule rather than assuming that having a government-employed parent automatically makes them eligible or ineligible.
4. Educational Qualification
There is no single minimum qualification for all coaching categories. The requirement depends on which examination the candidate wants to prepare for.
- Engineering or medical entrance: The revised rules specify Class 10 marks and Class 11/Class 12 study or completion conditions, including restrictions related to the elapsed time after passing Class 10.
- UPSC Civil Services and RPSC RAS: Degree-level eligibility or prescribed final-year eligibility, with additional school-mark conditions in the scheme.
- Police constable: Class 10-based conditions in the relevant coaching category.
- REET: Relevant teacher-education eligibility, such as the applicable teacher-training qualifications, plus the scheme's marks requirement.
- Railway, banking, SSC and other examinations: Course-specific Class 12, degree or other prescribed educational conditions.
Some categories require at least 50% in the relevant Class 10 or Class 12 examination, while others prescribe 60% in Class 12 or degree-related eligibility. Applicants must read the particular examination row in the official guidelines.

Documents and Details to Keep Ready
The precise upload and verification requirements depend on the applicant's category and examination. Preparing the following documents and information can reduce errors:
- Rajasthan domicile or Mool Niwas certificate
- Jan Aadhaar family and personal details
- Aadhaar or other identification required by the portal
- Valid category certificate, where applicable
- Family-income certificate or government-employee salary and Pay Matrix evidence, as applicable
- Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets
- Graduation or professional qualification records for the chosen examination, where required
- Current contact number and SSO login credentials
- Bank details and residence evidence, if requested for an applicable benefit
Practical advice: Ensure that the applicant's name, category, income and academic details are consistent across Jan Aadhaar, certificates and school or college records. Use the exact certificate validity and format specified by the current application system.
How Are Students Selected?
Applications are examined against the scheme's eligibility, examination-wise seats and category allocation. The department prepares merit-based selections using the prescribed educational performance criteria and preferences.
Under the published November 2024 rules, merit is determined from the relevant Class 10 or Class 12 marks for the chosen examination. A normalisation rule provides for CBSE board percentages to be multiplied by 0.9 for merit calculation, while RBSE percentages are used as stated.
Example: A CBSE candidate with 90% has a calculated merit value of 81 under that rule. This changes the ranking calculation; it does not alter the candidate's actual board marks.
Seat allocation is also affected by the notified course group and social-category distribution. Meeting minimum eligibility does not guarantee a coaching seat.
There is no single extra entrance test required solely to submit an Anuprati coaching application. The applicant must nevertheless qualify for the relevant examination category and satisfy the official merit requirements.

How to Check Merit List, Allotment and Joining
Once the government releases the relevant selection results, applicants should follow the official department notices and any instructions available in their SSO application.
- Open the Rajasthan Social Justice and Empowerment Department notice page.
- Look for the current Anuprati Coaching Scheme merit list or selection notice for session 2026–27.
- Check the relevant examination category and other identifying application information.
- Read the allotted institute and reporting or counselling instructions.
- Complete joining within the official deadline, including biometric or identity verification where directed.
- Retain the joining acknowledgment and follow attendance requirements.
Important: Previous sessions' merit lists and joining deadlines do not apply automatically to the 2026–27 session. Always check the year printed on the notice.
The department's earlier joining instructions also explain that joining an allotted institute can affect eligibility to take this scheme again in a later session. Do not accept an allotment without reviewing the applicable terms.
Important Points Before Choosing a Coaching Institute
- Select only a centre officially empanelled under the scheme.
- Check whether the offered course matches the examination you plan to take.
- Confirm the training location, class schedule, duration and medium of instruction.
- Consider travel and living costs before accepting a centre away from home.
- Do not assume accommodation assistance is available for your course.
- Attend classes regularly and comply with the institute's authorised attendance process.
- Preserve official fee, joining and attendance information for later queries.
The government pays the prescribed coaching fee under its institutional arrangement. Students should avoid paying unofficial agents or private institutes that promise a government coaching seat.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Using the original 7 October deadline instead of the official extended date of 25 October 2026.
- Assuming the expired application window is still open because the SSO portal is accessible.
- Believing all 30,000 seats are available for one examination.
- Assuming income below ₹8 lakh alone establishes eligibility.
- Confusing EWS or another category name with a category recognised by the particular application.
- Ignoring the minimum educational marks or qualification for the chosen exam.
- Assuming the ₹40,000 accommodation allowance applies to everyone.
- Choosing an institute that is not officially empanelled.
- Missing the joining deadline after selection.
- Confusing a 2025–26 merit list with the current session.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Anuprati Coaching Yojana open in October 2026?
The official extended deadline was 25 October 2026. As of 26 October 2026, the application window has passed and a further extension has not been identified in the government notices checked.
How much money does the student receive?
The main benefit is coaching at an approved centre without paying the prescribed coaching fee. A separate ₹40,000 annual accommodation and food allowance is conditional and is not payable to every selected student.
Can a Class 10 student apply?
Some entrance-examination coaching groups use Class 10 marks and allow students progressing through Class 11 or Class 12, subject to the precise conditions. Other coaching groups require Class 12, graduation or professional eligibility.
Can a student from outside Rajasthan apply?
The scheme requires Rajasthan domicile. Students who do not satisfy the domicile requirement are not eligible under the published rules.
Is there a separate coaching entrance examination?
Selection is based on the official scheme's educational merit, category and available seats. A separate universal Anuprati entrance test is not prescribed for every applicant.
Can all EWS or general-category students apply?
Applicants must belong to a category recognised under the scheme and satisfy its documentary, income and academic rules. Being in the general category or earning below ₹8 lakh does not automatically establish eligibility.
Can a selected student choose any private institute?
No. Coaching is arranged through the institutions officially empanelled under the government scheme and selected under its application and allotment process.
When will the 2026–27 merit list be released?
Applicants should follow the department's official orders and session-specific notices. No definite 2026–27 merit-list publication date was established in the official documents checked on 26 October.
What if I missed the 25 October deadline?
Check the official department notice page for any new reopening order. Until another official window is announced, prepare your eligibility documents and avoid treating older deadlines or unofficial claims as an extension.
